ASHTON CLARK
Ashton L. Clark serves as a Senior Staff Attorney at the Land Loss Prevention Project, where she has been a dedicated advocate since joining the firm in 2018. Through her practice, Ashton assists low-resource landowners and farmers with the preservation of real property and the creation and retention of generational wealth. Ashton holds both her B.A. and J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While in law school, Ashton focused her attention on public interest law, trauma-informed counseling, and policy development through her advocacy in the areas of immigration and domestic violence. Ashton served as the Editor-in-Chief for Volume 16 of the First Amendment Law Review and was published in Volume 15 for her article, “The Right to Post: How North Carolina’s Revenge Porn Statute Can Escape Running Afoul of the First Amendment Post-Bishop.” Ashton resides in Wilmington with her wife and their many beloved animals. Outside of her legal work, she spends most of her time in spin studios, bookstores, local coffee shops, or on the pickleball court.
